Continuance of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade is a necessity, said that European Union officials, after the meeting that the Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, had on Wednesday in Brussels with the EU High Representative for Foreign Policies and Security and deputy leader of the European Commission, Catherine Ashton.

“These discussions should be renewed as soon as possible, when the new Government in Belgrade starts its work,” said the Maja Kocijancic, Spokesperson of Baroness Ashton. According to her, Ashton has stressed the importance for both parties to implement all the reached agreements in the dialogue. “Ashton has expressed satisfaction for the renewal of the mandate for EULEX mission and stressed that that this mission is an important part of the EU engagement in Kosovo,” said Kocijancic.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Thaçi has reiterated the determination of Kosovo institutions towards the European perspective and he spoke about the projects that the Government has undertaken for the following months.

The Vetëvendosje movement requested that the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo not join the coalition with the Democratic party of Kosovo. The leader of the second biggest opposition power, Albin Kurti, stated on Wednesday at a press conference the fall of the Government lead by Hashim Thaçi and not discussions for coalition, should be the priority of the opposition parties. “On 2 December 20122, we had initiated a collection of signatures for the motion of distrust on the Government of Kosovo. It is the prime time for other opposition subjects to sign this motion,” said Kurti.

Leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, consider that institutional and party leaders are not obliged to respect only the laws but they are also obliged to defend their honor and fortitude, and this is achieved by keeping their promises. During a meeting that the leadership of this party held on Wednesday, it was concluded that the Thaçi-Pacolli-Mustafa Agreement witnessed by the US Ambassador Dell, and accepted as such by President Jahjaga, has nothing to do with the verdict of the Constitutional Court on the constitutional amendments, proposed ad hoc by the constitutional commission. “Atifete should not forget that her position is a donation. We have transformed her from an ordinary citizens to the first person of the country. Therefore, now she should show fortitude and resign,” said LDK Deputy Leader, Teuta Sahatqija.

Mayor Muja interviewed for hours by EULEX prosecution (Koha Ditore)
Prizren Mayor, Ramadan Muja, was interviewed on Wednesday by the prosecutors of the European mission for the rule of law, EULEX, regarding the suspected cases of the abuse of the official duty. The most senior official of the local government in Prizren was for more than five hours at the facilities of the District Prosecution, where he was interviewed by the mobile teams of the EULEX prosecution. Reliable sources of the newspaper, said that “the municipality mayor was interviewed regarding the claims for the abuse of duty, which have been made public for the opinion.”

Request annulment of the agreements (Express)
Express reports that the representatives of the three associations of Serbs in Kosovo, will hand over tomorrow in Belgrade to the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, and the designated for the creation of the Government Ivica Dacic, the petition of 27 thousand signatures of Kosovo Serbs, who request annulment of the reached agreements between Belgrade and Pristina during the dialogue in Brussels. One of the organizers of the petition, Vladimir Rakic, stated that the request will be also handed over on Thursday also to the Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia, Nebojsa Stefanovic.
