SHBA- MTV Video Music Awards i cili u zhvillua mbrëmjen e kaluar i dha një tjetër çmim këngëtares së njohur, Taylor Swift. Artisja arriti të merrte çmimin më të madh të natës dhe njoftoi se do publikojë një album të ri.

Swift, ishte e vetmja artiste që dyfishoi çmimet televizive.
