Express reports that in his latest statement, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi criticized the European Union like never before saying that Brussels is keeping alive the conflict industry in the Balkans by failing to push forward integration processes. The paper notes that this is the first time that Thaçi changed his speech vis-à-vis the European Union since being elected Prime Minister. Thaçi called on the EU to accelerate Kosovo’s integration otherwise there could be a risk of border changes.

The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stressed that unjustified arrests, passivity towards intolerance, war-willing rhetoric, unavoidably lead towards further tensions and violence.

Executive’s draft for ‘Ownership titles recognition’ passed by the Laws’ Committee only with majority’s votes. But the conclusive version did not include Minister of Environment and Head of Republican Party, Mediu proposals. Mediu had proposed land-patents distribution only to the subjects that are in possession of land usage certificate in conformity with law 7501. Opposition abstained from voting this law due to a conflict between articles 12 and 15.
