Border Police in Kakavija's customs arrested in the late hours last night a drug trafficker who had reached to escape Greek police in his vehicle.
KAKAVIJA (13/10/2001)- Border Police in Kakavija's customs arrested in the late hours last night a drug trafficker who had reached to escape Greek police in his vehicle. Mikel Pellumbi, 23-year old, born and living in Serme, Fier, was caught red handed since 15 kg of marijuana were found in his vehicle's oil tank, reported Border police. At the moment that the Greek police tried to arrest the 23 year old, he reached to escape by driving speedily, and entered in Albania territory. But Greek police immediately announced their Albanian colleagues who blocked for some hours the borderline and arrested the trafficker.
