BOSNIA: The Hague: We have no deal with Karadjic

War Crimes Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (The Hague) denied today that it proposed Radovan Karadjic to remove the genocide charge, if he testified in The Hague against Slobodan Milosevic.
(27/2/2002) BANJA LUKA (February 27) - War Crimes Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (The Hague) denied today that it proposed Radovan Karadjic to remove the genocide charge, if he testified in The Hague against Slobodan Milosevic. Karadjic and general Ratko Mladic, Karadjic's former military chief, are both charged for genocide and crimes against humanity during Bosnia (1991-1995) and for genocide during Srebernica siege, in July 1995. "There are no talks, no deals, the charge cannot change," declared Florence Hartman, spokeswoman to chief prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte, denying this way an information published today in Banja-Luka by Bosnian magazine "Ekstra".
