Research and Development Manager
The Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) has a mission to make a meaningful contribution to Albania's economic progress by focusing investments in the following areas:
  • Education and Leadership Development
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Support for Cultural and Eco-Tourism
The AADF is looking for a Research and Development Manager who will work closely with the Program Sectors Managers for Education, Entrepreneurship and Culture & Eco Tourism. This position reports directly to the Executive Directors of AADF.
Main responsibilities by objectives, but not limited to, are:
  • Research & elaborate new development projects that fit within the overall strategic framework of AADF.
  • Review existing projects and research worldwide to help develop ideas that will improve the impact of ongoing programming.
  • Establish clear and measurable impact indicators for new and existing projects and guide AADF staff in implementing a performance monitoring and evaluation system.
Successful candidates will have:
  • University degree on a related field.  MBA degree would be an asset
  • At least 5 years of growing experience in Project Management, inclusive of work planning, budgeting, and monitoring
  • At least 3 years of growing experience in Project Development and Programmatic Expansion
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, inclusive of software fluency to support presentations
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent event management skills
  • Strong professionalism and solid ethics
