Belgrade responds to Del Ponte: Mladic is not in Yugoslavia

BELGRADE (28 Nentor)(28/11/2001) - Yugoslav Interior Minister, Zoran Zivkovic, stated yesterday that as far as he knows General Ratko Mladic, former military commander of Serbs in bosnia " Is not in Yugoslavia". Zivkovic reacted this way to the accuses of The Hague chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte to Yugoslavia, who declared yesterday in front of the ONU Security council that Belgrade was shielding Mladioc. " According to the information I have got since one year Ratko Mladic is not in our territory" stated Interior Minister for Serb State Television RTS. He also added " There is no information that Mladic is harbored by Yugoslav Army". Yugoslav Federal Government- he said, - Hasn't promulgated any decree to oblige any institution or a third person to shield a war crimes accused".
