Bosnian Serb politicians visit The Hague

THE HAGUE (9/14/2001)- A Bosnian Serb delegation toured the Hague Tribunal yesterday ahead of a parliamentary vote next week on co-operation with the court, reported B92. Nine politicians from the Republic of Srpska met tribunal president Claude Jorda before visiting Bosnian Serb prisoners in Scheveningen jail. The Republic of Srpska parliament is expected to pass a law on September 18 allowing the extradition of citizens to the tribunal. The bill was given initial parliamentary approval in July. The Hague's wanted list is headed by two Bosnian Serbs: wartime leader Radovan Karadzic and military chief Ratko Mladic.
