(17/1/2002)BELGRADE (January 17) - The office of Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica has denied that he told a Kosovo news agency that the wartime Bosnian Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic had been arrested, reported BBC. A spokesman for the president's information office, Neda Stanisavljevic, said that the president had not made any such statement to any Kosovo agency. The report was carried by Russia's Itar-Tass news agency. It said that American Special Forces had arrested the two men.
