Serbia: Police "have no information" on Mladic

BELGRADE (December 5)(5/12/2001) - The Serbian police say they have no information that former Bosnian Serb Army commander Ratko Mladic is on Serbian territory, reported B92. Police spokesman Milorad Simic told a press conference yesterday that the Serbian Ministry of the Interior had not received a warrant for the arrest of Mladic. Asked how police would respond if they did receive such a warrant, Simic replied that officers of the Serbian Interior Ministry acted in accordance with legal regulations and authorized orders and would be obliged to carry out orders.
