OSCE organizes general elections, parallel structures local elections
Under the facilitation of the OSCE, Kosovo Serb citizens casted their votes in Serbia’s parliamentary and presidential elections in 28 locations in Kosovo. No incidents were reported during the voting and the Kosovo Government said the process was in accordance with international standards for persons with dual citizenship

Dell: Serbian elections in Kosovo without effec
US Ambassador Christopher Dell said that Serbian local elections in Kosovo will have no effect. “The local elections that will be held in the north have no effect and they are not longer important just like the referendum held previously in the north which was ignored,” he said.

Court declares Limaj innocent
Members of the Kosovo Assembly and PDK deputy leader Fatmir Limaj were acquitted of all charges against him in the so-called Kleçka case, papers report. The other three former KLA members were also declared innocent by the Pristina District Court as the trial body found no evidence to support claims that the four KLA commanders committed war crimes.

Unsupervised independence, without the north

Government reconfirms situation in the north. Opposition ignores Thaçi
The special session of the Kosovo Assembly for the north called by the governing coalition partners has ended on Wednesday without any recommendation, statement or resolution which would request the Government to undertake necessary actions to create a safe and secure environment for the citizens who are living in that part of the country.

Government to allow Serbian parliamentary elections in Kosovo
Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi felt it his constitutional duty to facilitate citizens of Kosovo in voting for Serbian presidential and parliamentary elections, writes Koha Ditore. In this respect, he met OSCE General Secretary Lamberto Zannier whom he asked to help in organizing Serbian parliamentary elections in the territory of Kosovo. “This is our constitutional and legal duty,” said Thaçi.
