Albania Leasing Sh.a.,
a non-bank financial institution, founded by National Commercial Bank (BKT), Islamic Development Corporation from Saudi Arabia, Kolon Group from South Korea and ND Balkan from Macedonia, is looking for successful candidates, for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 
General Management
·         Assist the General Manager in the preparation of Management Information Reports and comparison with the performance measures to monitor the value drivers. 
·         Attend all strategic and policy meetings relating to Finance, Accounts and IT.
·         Generate periodic MIS reports on performance of the Company.
·         Preparation of periodic portfolio risk analysis reports.
 
Finance and Accounts
·         Supervise the functioning of the Finance and Accounts Department.
·         Develop significant accounting policies for recording the financial transactions of the Company.
·         Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts noting the position of expenses and income and financial positions of the company and present them to the CEO.
·         Prepare financial statements of the Company and its achievement during the year and submit it to the CEO.
·         Ensure preparation of monthly accounts in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations.
·         Monitor the liquidity position of the Company and keep the CEO posted periodically.
·         Deal with Bank authorities and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
·         Monitor and ensure timely completion of externally required returns and filings (i.e. comply with statutory requirements).
·         Timely submission of returns to the regulatory authorities.
·         Compliance of loan covenants from the borrowers and licensing covenant from the Bank of Albania.
·         Monitoring the cost of funds.
·         Preparation of key performance indicators and their impact on profitability vs budget. 
 
Information Systems
·         Overall responsibility for maintenance of Lease Software.
·         Ensure that the Lease Software is properly implemented, controlled and functional.
·         Defining system specifications and ensuring that the Management Reports are generated from the system.
 
Requirements for this Position:
 
  • University Degree and/or advanced studies in Finance /Business Administration or related areas;
  • 5+ years’ work experience in the same position, preferably with banks and other financial companies;
  • Good understanding of Fraud & Operational Security;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; 
  • Professionalism and self-motivation;
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action.
