Thaci: Agreement with Serbia, difficult process that opened a new chapte
Kosovo Prime Minister said on Saturday that the process of signing the agreement with Serbia was not easy, but it has opened a new chapter. No agreement on implementation, new meetings necessary
Delegations from Kosovo and Serbia failed to agree on implementation plan of the agreement reached between prime ministers Hashim Thaçi and Ivica Dacic last month in Brussels.Koha Ditore reports that the agreement reached on 19 April, which continues to be called historic and one of biggest successes of EU High Representative Catherine Ashton, is encountering difficulties in the implementation process.

Halbauer: I dream of removing the barricade on the bridge

Amnesty, employment for “criminals” of the north
No one from the Kosovo Government was able to say on Tuesday whether there would be amnesty for those suspected of committing crimes in the northern part of Kosovo, the paper reports on the front page. Kosovo authorities are obliged to declare amnesty and provide employment for those they have constantly called “criminals”. This is provided in the agreement that Kosovo and Serbia prime ministers signed in Brussels.

Kosovo accepts the agreement, Serbia partially
Kosovo Prime Minster, Hashim Thaçi, said that for the third time Kosovo has accepted what he called “official agreement proposed from Baroness Ashton, while Serbia refused it”, reports Koha Ditore. Serb Prime Minister, Ivica Dacic, on the other hand, said that Serbia has agreed with most of the proposals but “not with the request for membership of Kosovo in international institutions”.
